Dr. Mauricio Pineda Valencia completed his studies in Medicine and Surgery at the Caldas University  and specialized in Plastic, Aesthetic, Reconstructive, Maxillofacial, and Hand Surgery at the Pontifical Xavierian University in Bogotá. He trained at San Ignacio University Hospital, La Samaritana Hospital, Simon Bolivar Hospital, Federico Lleras Dermatological Institute, Misericordia Hospital, and San Rafael Clinic. He also received additional training at the New York Medical Center of the University of New York.
